WebFox 2.0 Improvements
Private/ Business Switch Conveniently via a Browser PlugIn
The user can now switch between private and business use of the Internet directly in the Web browser. There is a browser plug-in (initially for Internet Explorer) available for this. The button to switch and the time display is shown as a tool bar in Internet Explorer. Naturally it does not matter how many browser windows or tabs used for surfing. The browser plug-in can also be used in landscapes using terminal servers.
Data Protection Compliant Realization of Your Security Guidelines
If security guidelines (e.g. content filtering for certain groups of people) apply in a company these remain untouched by WebFox in the future. This means taht you can take advantage of all of the benefits of WebFox without having to change any of your other policies. The anonymization of the Internet remains as it is, as does the full functionality of the following systems (e.g. BlueCoat Proxy).
Integration of Temporary Internet Users (e.g. Guest Access) Is Possible Without Problems
After you have set up temporary access for guests or people in your network, they can use the Web without having to install the WebFox program. All of the defined rules for Internet use therefore also apply to the guest access.
Embedding of the Employmee Agreement
You can save individual employee agreements in WebFox. WebFox asks the user for consent when surfing privately for the first time. The employee agreement is shown here and the user can accept or decline it with the click of a mouse. The switch to private is only possible if the agreement has been accepted.
